Winter 2005
Drew and Briana got engaged. We had a great Christmas eve dinner, and raised money for school supplies with a charity goat drop. We celebrated New Years eve with our friends Babet and Jurrien from "That" boat.
Fall 2005
We survived Hurricane Stan. Our friend Adi came back from Israel to help out. The treehouse is for rent for the first time after Devon returns to Canada. We have our first huge thanksgiving dinner feast for 36 people. Thanks for all the help we got from our Israeli friends.
Summer 2005
Devon finished the treehouse in june (click for construction pics). We planted 215 jocote trees, that should harvest jocote fruit in a couple of years. On July 3rd, we had our first ever Sunday Football kick-about tournament (Click for pics) on the flat spot by the dorm. We had our second football tournament on August 21st. Five teams competed, with the Chapingos winning again. Thanks to everyone who came up to make it a great day, and thanks to all the businesses, Mono Loco, Rainbow, Reilly's, No Se and the Bagel Barn for chipping in the booze prizes. Spring 2005
Built the new bathroom and shower building for the cabins, and fixed up the other bathrooms with cement and tile.
Winter 2004
Built the 3rd A-frame cabin. On January 2nd, two new baby goats were born, Elvis and Lefty.
Fall 2004
Bought 2 female goats, Panchita and Mama. Mama gives birth to two baby goats, Petunia and Billy.
Summer 2004
Built the kitchen, planted the avocado saplings and had our first customers
Spring 2004
Built the sauna, the dorm and the dorm washroom.
Winter 2003
We build the first two A-frame cabins
Fall 2003
Venancio and his family move in. Construction begins on Drew and Briana's A-frame and they move up to the lodge.
July 2003
Started building a house for our caretaker, Venancio.
